John Vigna is an Assistant Professor of History and American Politics and a project manager for the Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis. He graduated from USMA in 1988 with a B.S. (American Politics Concentration), and an M.A.  in American History from Cornell University.  He served over 23 years as an officer in the Engineer Regiment.  His primary interests are the history of American foreign relations in the 20th Century, the Cold War, the American Civil War, and American military history.
