Major Jacob Sheehan is an Instructor of Economics in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy. He is Special Forces officer with ten years of service and deployments to Iraq, Thailand, Afghanistan, Korea, and India. He served as a detachment commander for ODAs 1431 and 1324 in 1st Special Forces Group at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. He also served as a platoon leader in Bravo Troop, 4-10th Cavalry at Fort Carson, Colorado. Immediately after graduating West Point, Jacob served as a Fulbright scholar to the United Kingdom.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and American Politics from the United States Military Academy, a Master’s of Science in Development Finance from the University of Manchester, UK, and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Jacob resides in West Point, New York with his wife Rachel and son Samuel.
