MAJ Brockmann is a 2001 graduate of the United States Military Academy and completed her Ph.D. in political science at Harvard University in 2011. Heidi has served in a variety of military assignments, deploying to Afghanistan in 2004 as the military assistant to the Political Advisor, the senior U.S. State Department official in the military headquarters. Most recently MAJ Brockmann commanded a company of 160 Soldiers at Fort Meade, Maryland, responsible for emplacing and maintaining the National Security Agency's classified communications networks. She is currently the course director for SS202, American Politics.
