Mike Walker is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Social
Sciences at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was commissioned as an Infantry officer,
serving as both a platoon leader and company commander during combat tours in
support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In
2011, he transitioned to the Operations Research and Strategic Analyst
Functional Area (FA49). Captain Walker
is a 2004 graduate of West Point and earned a PhD in Economics from the
University of Oklahoma in May 2013.
