Look for the team's display at Club Night

The team will have a display in Eisenhower Hall for Club Night this fall. Make sure that you stop by. Feel free to ask any of the team members questions about the team, our training, trips, or schedule. All team members will be glad to answer your questions. See you there!

Sign up for Possible Training Trip

The team is looking into a training opportunity with a great lady named Jill Troutner, who also happens to be on the US National Guard Biathlon Team and an esteemed graduate of this fine institution ('95). She has helped the team out for the last three years and would like to do so again. This is an excellent opportunity to get some pointers and ask get your questions answered by someone on one our nation's top Nordic teams. We would mostly likely use the weekend of November 13th or 20th and remain here at West Point with perhaps a day trip or two in the immediate area. Please let Dave Dyrenforth know if you would be interested in this event so he can coordinate with Jill and DCA.

Congratulations to Army skiers!

Congratulations to the Army skiers at Nationals this year. USMA sent five male cadets and one female cadet to Mammoth Mountain, CA, who represented the Academy well. Despite difficulties acclimating to the 9,000 foot elevation, the Army team did exceptionally well. Army managed to fair quite well at the week long competition due to the team's depth and training. Team highlights included race completion by all Army skiers and the status All American earned by Dave Dyrenforth, '00, A3. First year skier, Matt Kelley, '02, C1 impressed the skiing community with his strong performance. Briah Carey, '00, H2 had previously earned the All American status and did an outstanding job representing the Army women. Also helping Army were Ben Saine, '99, E4, Christian Liflander, '99, A1, and team captain Bob Mahowald, '99, G2. To see how the team faired at Nationals, go to the results page.
