The American Society of Civil Engineers West Point Student Chapter is an active group conducting various activities ranging from a professional growth lecture series to public service projects. We have had civil engineers from the military and civilian realms come to speak about the engineering profession at monthly luncheons. We have done service projects such as Habitat for Humanity in Newburgh and a bi-annual Highway Cleanup along Route 9W. The club seeks to give West Point civil engineers opportunities to relax and socialize while at the same time increasing their engineering knowledge.
