The Whitewater Kayak & Canoe Club is a non-competitive
club that gathers a couple of times a month to shoot some of the
area rivers, seeking the thrill and rush of the powerful whitewater.
Some of our favorite rivers include the Moodna River just outside
of Newburgh, the Deercreek River in western Massachusets, and
the Youghiogheny River in Pennsylvania. These trips provide us
with a break from the rigorous academics and allow us to experience
fellowship with one another while taking in all the beautiful
sights as we paddle down some of the best streams in the eastern
U.S.
