The Ski and Snowboard Instructors Club develops leadership and instructor skills through learning and teaching the basic concepts of skiing and snowboarding to children and members of the West Point Communiy. Each cadet instructor is certified by ASIA, the Amateur Ski Instructors Association, and volunteers their time to teach throughout the winter season. This year, the cadets taught children as young as 3 or 4 to a 57 year old man who drives from New York City to learn how to snowboard. The club teaches lessons at Victor Constant Monday through Thursdays. Each season the club takes their major training trip over President’s Day Weekend. This year’s feature resort for the trip is Sugarloaf, Vermont.
