Started in 1976 by COL (R) James Thome Jr., the team has gone on to win 20 college national championships, including the past 6 years in a row. Three past members have played on the U.S. Olympics team, and one coached the 1996 U.S. Olympic team. Many have played for the US National Team.The club’s goals focus on four points; 1) Giving cadets an opportunity to compete in a team sport, 2) Developing sports skills & fitness, 3) Developing leadership skills, and 4) Having fun. The team travels to several tournaments throughout the year.
