Navy Day

On Sunday, 4 October, Army Crew had a strong showing at the Head of the Riverfront Regatta in Connecticut. Army boats won a total of five medals in the 3.2 mile race, the one gold coming from the women's novice 8. Other medals came from the women's novice 4 (2nd place), the men's varsity 8 (2nd place by 7 seconds), the men's JV 8 (3rd place by 0.15 seconds), and the men's novice 8 (3rd place).

Other Army boats performed well, defeating a fellow service academy (Coast Guard) in nearly every race. The women's varsity 8, the JV women's 8, and the women's novice 4 all took 4th place in their respective races.
