Best Experience on team: I berated Trahan for his selfish eating habits, while Chapman and I struggled to gain weight. Apparently this was funny.

Funniest thing that’s happened to you in the weight room: In highschool, I watched a young guy, probably around 150lbs of string bean, load up 315lbs onto a bar and squat it, or attempt too, four times, with no spotter. As he came out of the rack, his legs were quivering as if he had electricity coursing through his thighs. He then proceeded to squat, approximately five inches down. My lifting partner and I were impressed with this feat of strength, and were incredibly surprised to see him then load, 375lbs onto the bar!

As he unracked the weight, I couldn’t imagine this kid being able to walk out of the pins, let alone bend his knees. As he squared his stance and got a breath of air, he ever so slowly bent his knees, and began to squat. He went down much farther than before, in fact, he squatted so low that the bar smashed into the bottom supports, and the kid tumbled out behind the rack. Luckily, the bottom stops were set pretty high, so he wasn’t hurt, but I was surprised the kid didn’t die of utter embarrassment.

He then proceeded to unload the bar, place it back, reload the bar with 375lbs, and then retire to the locker room, probably to celebrate his new PR.

One interesting thing you’d like to share: Chapman regularly trips in the weight room, and I am the only one who ever sees’ it happen. He will probably deny this.
