Andy Wolfrum 

Head Football Coach 

Coach Wolfrum recently completed his 3rd season as head coach of the USMAPS football team.  Wolfrum comes from a football family; his father is the head coach at Wyomissing Area High School in Pennsylvania, and his Grandfather was a head coach in the Philadelphia area at George Washington High School.  He was born and raised outside Reading, PA where he graduated from Wyomissing Area High School in 1996.  He is a member of the USMA class of 2000, and is married to the former Shannon Riley.  They live in New Windsor, NY with their son, Robert, who was born in 2014. 
Coach Wolfrum served in the Army for over six years as an armor and civil affairs officer.Coach Wolfrum served in the Army for over six years as an armor and civil affairs officer.  He was a tank platoon leader and scout platoon leader for 2-37 Armored Battalion of 1st BDE, 1st Armored Division, and later deployed with that unit in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in May of 2003.  He also deployed to Iraq in 2007 as a civil affairs team leader as a member of the 415th Civil Affairs Battalion. 
After his time in the Army, Wolfrum worked one spring with West Chester State University in Pennsylvania before becoming a defensive graduate assistant at the University of Akron.  After two seasons at Akron, he moved to the University of Louisville where he spent three years working for Head Coach Charlie Strong and the Cardinal defense as the quality control coach.  During the spring of 2014 he joined Coach Monken’s staff in a similar capacity, and was named head coach at USMAPS in July of 2014.
