Mr. Robert Mueller

Bob Mueller has been the Director of Athletics at the United States Military Academy Preparatory School since 1974.  He is a graduate of Westfield High School, New Jersey and Ithaca College, New York.  At Ithaca, Mueller participated in both football and wrestling for four years.  In football he was the recipient of the best attitude award and was named a team captain in his senior year.

Mueller also coached high school football and wrestling at Metuchen High School, New Jersey and Fulton High School, New York.  At Fulton, he coached two state wrestling champions and high school All-Americans.  One of those wrestlers was unscored upon in the state tournament and was named the Outstanding Wrestler. 

Mueller was also a graduate assistant football coach at Ithaca College, while simultaneously earning his Master's Degree in Physical Education.  In addition to his Director of Athletics duties at USMAPS, he was Head Football and Wrestling Coach for 10 years.  Bob and his wife Diane have two children, David and Kristin, and two grandchildren.
