| USMAPS CLUBS & ACTIVITIES |
| |
The Cadet Candidates at USMAPS do not just participate in sports, learn how to be autodidactic, and develop military bearing; they also have fun. The clubs at USMAPS are a way for CCs to engage in activities that they may have been a part of in the civilian world that they wish to continue while in the military. It also helps CCs to broaden their perspectives and learn more about the communal activities in New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey. |
|
The clubs at USMAPS are run by various members of the faculty. Each of these instructors volunteers free time to help out with the cadet candidates focus. As the clubs are a combination of input between both the CCs and the Staff, the clubs can change from year to year. CCs in the past have had clubs for choir, hockey, mountain-climbing, and diving. |

While all clubs are voluntary, many CCs find them enjoyable and continue to participate in them from the beginning of the year until the end. In addition, West Point has a very large, broad-based support channel for many Cadet interests, and future CCs interested may click here to see what West Point offers as additional activities. |
