The 2018 Middle School STEM Workshop application is now available.

Eligibility 

This unique middle school program offers students currently in 6th and 7th grade the opportunity to participate in hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics activities taught by Academy faculty and cadet mentors. 
Students must be a citizen of the United States, demonstrate a strong academic performance, and strong interest in pursuing college.
 
Tuition
 
CLD STEM has received generous donations which allow us to cover tuition for all students selected to participate in the 2018 workshop. Housing, meals, and all activities will be provided by the scholarship, however travel for students to and from West Point is not includedmust be provided by the family. 
 
Meals and Housing
 
Breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner are provided for all participants. During their visit to West Point all students will stay in the barracks under the supervision of cadet mentors.
 
Transportation
 
Each student is responsible for arranging transportation to and from West Point.

The application deadline is 23 February 2018. All applicants will be notified of selection status by the end of March. 
 
Workshop schedule 
 
The 2018 Middle School STEM Workshop will be held 29 May - 1 June 2018.  Please note, our session dates are based on our cadet training schedule and facility availability. We are aware that these dates conflict with some schools, but unfortunately they are the only dates available to us.
