LTC Elizabeth Dzwonczyk Assistant Professor Geography & Earth Sciences elizabeth.dzwonczyk [at] westpoint.edu About Education LTC Liz Dzwonczyk is an assistant professor in the Department of Geography & Earth Sciences at the United States Military Academy.She is a logistics officer with recent operational experience in the 1st Armored Division. Earlier in her career, Liz deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 25th Infantry Division as a distribution platoon leader and executive officer.Liz is a health geographer, with research interests including the impacts of extreme heat, urban microclimates, and health. She is a 2007 USMA graduate, earned a master's degree in geography from Penn State, and a doctorate in geography, planning, and design from the University of Colorado Denver.
