He deployed from Fort Hood, TX in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II, 06-08, 09-10, 11-12, Operation New Dawn in Kuwait, and Kosovo Force Peace Keeping Mission in 2017-2018. He is married to KT Johnson who works as a speech language pathologist, and together they raise three hockey/lacrosse players: Jack, Flynn, and Azel. In their spare time the Johnson family enjoys fishing, hunting, and visiting family.
