Professor William Sclama was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In 1998, he enlisted as a Military Police Officer and served 10 years in the United States Army. As a Non-Commissioned Officer he was deployed to Kosovo as part of a United Nations Mission and to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. After leaving military service William began his current career in teaching and training. He originally began in public education working in special education. He then received his graduate degree and became an instructor in the Department of Military Instruction at the United States Military Academy. After 3 years he was promoted to Assistant Professor and Deputy Course Director. He currently serves as the MS200 Deputy Course Director and is the department’s primary and lead trainer for academics.
