MAJ Cameron Turner grew up in Missoula, Montana and graduated from West Point in 2006 with a B.S. in Systems Engineering. He commissioned as an Aviation Officer and flew the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior in Iraq and at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. His prior duties included Platoon Leader, Squadron S-1, Aviation Intermediate Troop Commander, Line Troop Commander, and Brigade Assistant S-3. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2014 with a Masters of Education in Kinesiology. He is currently assigned to the Department of Physical Education and serves as a Combatives Instructor, a PE450 Instructor, and an Assessment Officer. He is happily married to Colleen and they have two sons, Callan, and Carson, as well as two dogs, Charlie and Carlos
