CPT Gerren Alexander hails from Hahnville, Louisiana. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2008 with a B.S. in Portuguese. CPT Alexander commissioned as an Air Defense Artillery Officer and has served as a Fire Control Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Assistant S-3, BN S-3 and Battery Commander. Operational units he has served in include A/3-43 ADA (Ft Bliss, TX), HHB/2-1 ADA (Camp Carroll, ROK), HHB/1-44 ADA (Ft Hood, TX), B/1-44 ADA, and HHB/69th ADA BDE. His education includes a M.A. in Leadership Management from the University of Texas at El Paso and a M.S. in Kinesiology (Exercise Physiology) from Texas A&M University. CPT Alexander serves as a Boxing and PE 450 Instructor, and Regimental Guidance Officer in DPE. He is married to the former Jesseca Marifosque, has two daughters, Olivia and Mia, and a boxer named Deuce.
