Colonel Kevin A. Bigelman is a 1993 graduate of the United States Military Academy and was commissioned in the Field Artillery.
His military education includes the Field Artillery Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, Combined Arms and Services Staff School, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Joint Firepower Control Course, Light Fire Support Officer’s Course, Jumpmaster Course, Ranger School, Air Assault School, Mountain Warfare School, and the US Army Command and General Staff College.
His assignments include Company Fire Support Officer and Support Platoon Leader in the 3d Battalion, 7th Field Artillery, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Fire Support Officer for B Company, 1st Ranger Battalion, Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia; Battalion Supply Officer and Battery Commander for B Battery, 3d Battalion, 13th Field Artillery (MLRS), IIId Armored Corps Artillery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma; Brigade Fire Support Officer for 1st Brigade, 82d Airborne Division and Operations Officer for 3d Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Garrison Commander, United States Army Garrison Livorno, Italy; Executive Officer to the Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management, Pentagon; and Operations and Training Division Chief, Army Resiliency Directorate, Army G-1, Pentagon.
Colonel Bigelman served two previous tours at the United States Military Academy as an instructor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education.  He currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Department of Physical Education.
