Biography


CPT Tara C. Lacson grew up in Edison, New Jersey and graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2013.  She commissioned into the Adjutant General Corps and was first assigned to the 502nd Human Resources Company, 4th Special Troops Battalion, 4th Sustainment Brigade in Fort Hood, Texas as a platoon leader. She then served as the company executive officer when the headquarters element deployed to Kuwait from 2015-16.  Upon her return, CPT Lacson was the brigade strength manager for 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.  After attending the Adjutant General Captains Career Course, CPT Lacson was assigned as the S1 to the 63rd Expeditionary Signal Battalion in Fort Stewart, Georgia. CPT Lacson entered George Washington University in 2019 and graduated in 2021 with an MA in History.  She currently serves as an instructor in the American History Division at the United States Military Academy.
