Frederick I. Moxley, Ph.D.
Professor Emeritus
Dr. Moxley has either served and/or led a number of key technical initiatives and working groups on behalf of the Department of Defense and U.S. Government over the course of his career. His primary research interests include complex systems, extemophiles, international relations, space systems & science, and Network Science.
Dr. Moxley is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and IEEE Computer Society, and a member of the Virginia Academy of Science, Sigma Xi - The Scientific Research Society, the American Society for Microbiology, the New York Academy of Science, Upsilon Pi Epsilon, and the National Space Society.
Dr. Moxley holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems, a Masters degree in Telecommunications, a Ph.D. in Information Systems and Science, a Post-Graduate certificate and second Ph.D. in Microbial Biodefense.
