Captain Nathaniel Kaminski is a 2nd year instructor and course director for the Nuclear Weapons Effects Course taught within the Department of Physics and Nuclear Engineering. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nuclear Engineering. He earned a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2011 and in Nuclear Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2016. Captain Kaminski is professionally certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and an Engineer in Training (EIT).
Captain Kaminski was commissioned in the Engineer Corps and served as a lieutenant in the 9th EN BN, 172nd IN BDE, Germany. In 2011, he served as a Company Commander for the 29th EN CO, 1st BDE, 1AD, Ft Bliss TX where he deployed his company in support of OEF 12-13. Upon return from OEF 12-13, CPT Kaminski was reassigned to the TRADOC Analysis Center at White Sands Missile Range (TRAC-WSMR). While at TRAC-WSMR, he served as the lead analyst for the Command Post Computing Environment (CP-CE), field tested during the Army Network Integration Evaluation (NIE).
Captain Kaminski is originally from Bay City, Michigan. He is married to Louise Brennan who is originally from Sydney, Australia and has twin sons, Ryan and Brad.
