Thank you for your interest in joining the Department of Systems Engineering.
Our department is internationally respected as the Army's Systems Engineering Department. We are home to world-class military and civilian scholars.
We are currently seeking officers from all commissioning sources who have a passion for teaching and mentoring in order to fulfill our vision of inspiring, educating, and developing the future of our Army. Opportunities exist for fully funded study at the Master's and Ph.D. levels through premiere graduate schools.
Those who are interested in joining the DSE are encouraged to bookmark this page and check it periodically for updates.
NOTE: Deadline for 2019 Selection Board is 1 August 2018
To begin the application process:
To facilitate the application process for rotating military faculty positions, USMA has implemented the West Enabled System and Tracking ("WEST"), a web application system that is in use by most departments.
The WEST system allows an applicant to simultaneously apply to multiple departments. If you are applying to more than one department, it is advised that you contact each department, as they may have different requirements for eligibility.
If you are new to the application process Click Here to start a new file. If you have any questions or problems related to the WEST system, to include lost passwords or connection problems, you can email WEST technical support personnel.
To follow up on your application packet:
If you have already created a profile, follow this link to the WEST Candidate Login page and enter your User ID and Password.
If you have any questions or problems related to the WEST system, to include lost passwords or connection problems, you can email WEST technical support personnel.
If you initiated a file before 1 January 2018 and would like to be considered in the 2019 board, please contact MAJ Julia Lensing (information below) to reactivate your file in the WEST System.
