MAJ Brandon Colas is an instructor in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is an Army Foreign Area Officer with ten years of service and multiple deployments to Iraq. He served as a platoon leader, deputy secretary of the general’s staff, and aide de camp in the 10th Mountain Division and as a battalion intelligence officer in the 3rd Infantry Division. He currently teaches SS307: Introduction to International Relations, while also serving as the International Affairs Executive Officer and Academic Counselor. He is married to Bethany (neé Deidel) and they have three children.
