Instructor (International Affairs)
Adam Alexander is a U.S. Army Military Intelligence officer and instructor of International Relations and Comparative Politics at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served in a variety of assignments at both the tactical and operational level and completed combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. He served as an infantry platoon leader and company executive officer in 1-327 Infantry, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault); as targeting officer for the 10th Mountain Division; and as the squadron intelligence officer for 3-71 Cavalry, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount St. Mary’s University and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University’s JFK School of Government. He resides in New York with his wife Nicole and three wonderful children. He is a native son of the great state of Maryland.
